Quick Overview

Audio Insert Block (AIB) is an audio frame that supports, protects, organizes and improves the performance of radio microphone equipment.

The receiver units such as the AD2020 sit in slots and the transmitters can be placed between the receivers whilst in transit.

The AIB is lightweight and durable, essential elements sound professionals demand when engaged in on-shoulder applications such as portable single camera (PSC), electronic news gathering (ENG) and other location shoot environments.

Made specifically for the sound professional who needs to be up and running as quickly as possible the AIB can also be used as a safe transport unit for receivers and transmitters within broadcast flightcases, holdalls, location staging areas and kitroom testing environments.

The AIB solves the problem of equipment being damaged and underperforming within location sound bags.

The AIB: Supports equipment holding radio receivers in position and creating a stable, clean working platform that is easy for the sound professional to work with.

The AIB makes for a professional presentation. Protects from damage to equipment and cables, while in operation and in transit, by use of a high quality dense foam. The protection offered also means equipment is prepared and primed for use a lot quicker than if the sound professional has to dismantle and place equipment into protective flightcases every time there is a location change. Organizes the receivers from left to right in the integrated four slot configuration which offers the sound professional a more efficient way dealing with fault finding tasks. Improves performance by limiting the damage caused by having receivers and their aerials knocking about loosely in the sound bag.

Having equipment in secured positions, raised above the edge of the shoulder bag boosts the receivers ability to maintain a stronger, consistent frequency signal. Materials. Machined plastazote foam with density at LD45. Dimensions.
