Maxell's DAT tape incorporates a 5 layer construction which includes the adoption of an exceptionally smooth base film/dust resistant back coating layer and a highly polished magnetic surface that ensures stable tape running. Excellent durability is achieved with the use of a special HB treatment process which securely bonds the tape layers together. This combination achieves an excellent head to tape contact and a good overall performance for professional applications. Maxell understands the needs of the Professional user and included with our Pro DAT packaging is a large label area and a specially designed PP storage case to effectively resist dust, heat and shock.
